“Gateway of Change - Nagrik Kranti”

Its a human nature and habit ... to look out and "Point Fingers"… today over 10days have passed of 26/11 event and we are still getting into a "Big Debate" "Big Fight" ...

Nation's well known journalist and renowned laureate’s are busy in identifying "who" ... "how" ... and "why"... "its not a TRP time"

Its not the time to look "Outside" …but an opportunity to "Change Inside"...

On 3rd dec 2008 ... It was great movement which brought over 2lacs mumbaikar on the street at "Gateway"

They were not few men who came out of their houses / offices ... it was INDIA which was standing at the "Gateway"...

Unfortunately ... when the were standing at the "Gateway" - The historic place which reminds of last English Troop leaving India in 1948 ... witnessed the terrorist attack ... in front of it

... and also few days later over 2 lacs countrymen came to "Gateway" .... "Gateway of Change" “Gateway of New Sun Rise" ...

we all came together at "Gateway" and went back from "Gateway" together to our homes ...

could not able to take the biggest step of change and crossed the "Gateway of Change"

Everyone who was on his / her feet on "Gateway" on 3rd Dec 2008 ... came with lots anger, frustration , slogans and billboard ...

Every one had some thing to speak / express ... "outside" pointing fingers at others ... shouting slogans at some body or others...

All the fingers were pointing at politicians ... Neighboring country and their acts... and midst of all these were some shout’s pf praises of good act of those… Who shed their blood , sweat and even lives ... to give us an opportunity to write this ...

we all agree its not easy to bring over 2lacs Indian together and move ... surprisingly the numbers were still less than the Mumbai people came out of their offices and home when Indian T20 team came to Mumbai.

Its was really the "ONENES" which was demonstrated....

We all shouted… Expressed our anger... lit the candle ... signed the petition .. and went back ... made the day memorable in photo's / magazines / next morning newspaper / in tv news / mail forwards and that’s all ....

We missed the biggest opportunity of our lives.. When we were standing at the "Gateway of Change" with the candles in our hand ... "NONE OF US SWEAR TO CHNAGE OURSELVES"

If each one of us who joined the rally ... the mass movement ... rare experience ... not of any political party but truly INDIAN... Nagrik … Citizens would have sworn together that we will change ourselves and do simple 4 things … which will ensure to history not repeat itself (26/11) any part of our mother land.

1. WILL NOT TAKE ANY BRIBE

2. WILL NOT SUPPORT / GIVE ANY BRIBE (IF POLICE CATCHES FOR SOME MISTAKE ITS BETTER TO PAY THE FINE THAN TO BRIBE THE POLICE)

3. WILL NOT EVADE TAX

4. WILL RESPECT FELLOW COUNTRYMEN (RESPECT IS VERY SIMPLE - NEVER HURT OR TRY TO USE ANY ONE FOR UR PERSONAL INTEREST)

If this movement have to carry forward and we have ensure that no one in the world should look at us like this again … we have to bring CHANGE … change in self …

Changing the ministers will not help … because he will replaced by other who will be equally bad …

We have to ensure that we as Citizen of India … should know about rights and duties and exercise them in the interest of OUR Society…

No one has got right whether it’s a minister or terrorist to walk in my country without my permission …. Because I M India , You Are India … We are India …

We all are equally like NSG commando’s who have passion to protect and fight for our country and our voices are the Weapon … “Louder and Consistent” Persistent … will bring change ….

India today is standing at the door of change …. Movement of people at “Gateway of Change: was just a start …. This change is not economic change … but change in the perspective , thoughts and action of each Indian …. We are the “Gateway of Nagrik Kranti” – and as any democratic movement … “Nagrik Kranti” will also be a “Bottom’s UP” …. As our grand “father’s” made our country liberated 60 years from English …. Today we have to come together and take the same route … and liberate INDIA from Terrorism….

Lets Swear … we will not support any activity which in turn will lead any terrorism activity to flourish ….
